On May 22nd at Coyote Joe’s in Charlotte, NC,
Fight Lab Pros will be presenting Fight Lab 25. The event is intended to
coincide with race week. The first bout on the card is Roger Carroll versus
Johnny Buck. Roger Carroll, also known as, “The Leprechaun,” stands 5’10’’ tall
and weighs in at 170 lbs. His opponent, Johnny Buck, has the same height but
weighs sixteen pounds more. Each of them has had more wins than losses in their
professional fighting careers. If Buck loses, though, that will bring his count
even, with nine of each. Carroll’s record currently stands at ten and six.
Next up are Mont McMullens and Bobby Gurley. Mcmullens
weighs thirty pounds more than Gurley, but Gurley is an inch taller. Currently,
their records are the exact opposites of each other, with Mcmullens’ standing
at two and one and Gurley’s standing at one and two. Up next that night will be
Joseph Carroll and Noe Quintanilla. Quintanilla already has been in twenty-five
professional fights over the course of his career, and he has won eleven of
them. Carroll, on the other hand, has a record of five and six. The two men
both stand 5’10’’ tall. Carroll’s nickname is “El Dingo Loco.”
Aaron Osborne and Willie Hosch are also fighting that
night. They both weigh one hundred seventy pounds, and Osborne has only lost
one of his six fights. This will only be Hosch’s second professional fight. He
won his first one. Osborne has been the welterweight champion at the Virginia
cage fighting championships. Hosch won his first fight because of referee
stoppage from strikes. Both of these young men are local to North Carolina.
There will be ten other fights that night, too. The action will get underway at
7 pm, and it promises to be a hard hitting event.
