WWE comes to MMA , Super Fight League 3 Taking Shape

With Mixed Martial Arts becoming the combat sport of choice for martial arts enthusiasts all across the world, there are many new fight promotions getting started. The sport of MMA is continuing to grow and gain rapid exposure to markets of fight fans from many different countries across the globe. One of these fight promotions is Super Fight League. This promotion is putting on their third event on May 6 in New Delhi. Super Fight League is also pioneering the way in the combat sports industry by allowing the entire fight card to be streamed over the Internet through YouTube. Many fight fans are hoping this is a trend that continues and that bigger promotions start putting up fights on YouTube to be watched live as well.

The headlining bout for Super Fight League 3 features a stellar heavyweight fight between Bobby Lashley and James Thompson. Lashley is not new to combat sports, having previously been a part of WWE as a professional wrestler. Lashley knows how to entertain a crowd and is sure to make the fight a memorable one to watch. Lashley has been paying his dues in the regional fight circuit and is coming off two consecutive victories, including one that landed him a championship title with a promotion called Sharks Fights.

The other headliner in the main event also headlined the very first Super Fight League event. Thompson was paired up against Bob Sapp, with Thompson taking home the win due to a submission in the first round of the fight. Sapp apparently suffered from an injury during the fight.

Super Fight League 3 also boasts a fight featuring Trevor Prangley and Baga Agaev. Prangley has been a part of many events hosted by some of the top fight promotions and organizations in the world. He has participated in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions over his career. Prangley was at the top of his game for a while, winning 11 fights and only losing one, but has since gone into a slump. His opponent Agaev will pose a serious threat to Prangley, as he has over 17 submission victories. If the fight goes to the ground, it should prove to be intensely interesting for fans who are watching in person and through the Internet. If you are looking for some great fight action and excitement, you will need to tune in to YouTube on May 6 to watch this third event by an up and coming promotion.
